"The hotel was inexpensive, but unfortunately the overall experience reflected the price. Although smoking was prohibited, the room next to us smelled strongly of marijuana, making it seem like the policy was not enforced. There was noticeable water damage in the rooms, along with an unpleasant odor throughout the property. In addition, guests were smoking cigarettes and marijuana directly outside the front entrance, which made arriving and leaving uncomfortable. Overall, the property could benefit from better maintenance and stricter enforcement of its non-smoking policy."

"I am here with my young adult girls and I could not have picked a better place. Tori is an amazing host, and the neighbors are just as nice. They are inviting and welcoming. The street is DARLING. I am in real estate and now want to buy a property here. Tori’s upstairs unit is beautifully designed and decorated. It is immaculately clean. AND it’s within a 15 minute drive of Soldier Field, Michigan Ave, and the Navy Pier. This place is a a gem."

"Strange odor in the lobby. Breakfast was average. Bathroom could have been cleaner (mirror frame and outside of tub)."

"Parking was great and the hotel was easy to get to. My only issue is the bed was very uncomfortable and the mattress should be replaced. As it had a very large indent in one side. "

"While my room was small, it was very neat and clean. Fillowing its renovation all the interior spaces are essentially new and well appointed. Its located in a quiet part of town off the main throughfare resulting in a very quiet night. You need to make sure you know how to contact the owner/manager to get access to the building and your room if there is no one present. Its a unique overnight stop and i would certainly recommend it, especially for individual travelers."

"No front desk, all transactions were done remotely! If there was any issue, it would have to be done over the phone! Thankfully everything was fine, but I not a fan of getting instructions on my phone to check in! What if my phone wasn’t working or not charged since I was on the road! It was a wonderful room, but should be informed that there is no one at the hotel!"
