"I was there on a Saturday night and given a room in the back of hotel behind a few clubs on Crown St which were very loud even during my 2:30 afternoon check in due to Cinco de Mayo parties, a New Haven pub crawl and end off semester stress relief by Yale students (oh to be young again!). "They were in the process of revamping part of the front entrance, which was a little inconvenient, but it was still OK. Had to be done. I’m sure it will be nice when it’s finished."

"The listing in hotels.com should've really told us that it was under some renovation as renovation was both noisy and a little bit dirty in the lobby area. They also should've told us that the rowing showers were not currently available because of the reconstruction. Staff was lovely and various assisting, our issues."
