New Orleans

The graves in the NOLA cemeteries are eerie and beautiful at the same time.
The graves in the NOLA cemeteries are eerie and beautiful at the same time.
The Italian Benevolent Society Tomb towers above all others in New Orleans’s oldest cemetery.
It is customary for entire families to be buried in the same tomb. It is law that you must wait at least 1 year and 1 day before placing another body in a family tomb. They want to ensure it remains sealed and goes through an entire hot summer before reopening. (Yikes.)
