"Our stay was superb. The hosts, Lindy and David were very friendly, interesting conversationalists who provided nice touches like a bottle of champagne, delicious cheese plate with accompanying nuts, dried apricots and crackers and very enticing pinot noir and chardonnay options for pre dinner. Breakfast was hearty and fresh and wandering through the gardens in early autumn was good for the soul. We will return again - and book all 4 spacious rooms for a weekend away with friends. "The hotel staff were really lovely. Overall the hotel was a nice, quaint, clean boutique. Its old charm is captured well and with their fireplaces it would be comfortable year-round. We will certainly return! Easy parking and a nice little park across the road. We ate at the restaurant on our first night too, and it was a great Italian meal - seems like locals also go there to dine which is a good sign. We loved that the hotel supported the charity Two Good with its in-room bathroom amenities,...
