"The hotel is in a great location for navigating around DC. Bear in mind that we were there during Memorial Weekend, so we didn't experience the usual traffic. We also didn't visit the hotel bar, experience its food, or use its gym. The hotel mentions it has Pelotons but the rest of their equipment is bare minimum in terms of strength machines and free weights. The Darcy also touts that it is dog-friendly which basically means dogs are allowed to stay. They did not offer any amenities for dogs or...

"I came to this hotel to enjoy the rooftop restaurant and tried on 2 different days and both times were early evening and advertised as being open but closed!! So disappointed! When I told the front desk the lady stated that the bar was responsible for keeping the restaurant open. Also, I had cancelled parking and was charged for 2 nights and never received a receipt when I checked out as I was told it would be sent to my personal email."

"We stayed at a corner king suit. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious. However, the hotel is more like an apartment hotel which is outdated, old and dark. Also, compared with numerous hotels we have stayed at, majority of the staff were unhelpful. We asked for extra blanket and they couldn’t provide it to us as there was no room service at night! "The uniqueness of this hotel is that it is located right next to the central train station, very close to all public transportation in the area. The hotel is also very close to Capitol Hill, allowing for a pleasant and relaxing trip to the Washington DC."
