Check-in was easy, very cordial front desk staff. Upon arrival, we were greeted by lots of ants in our room. We thought maybe the previous guests left some food out. Asked to be moved and was told someone would come up and spray. They sprayed and we went out for dinner hoping for the best. When we came back there was still a continuous crawling of ants all over the floor. The final straw was seeing one on a pillow in the bed. We went back down to ask to be moved and was told there were no rooms available (she reached out to the manager). Came back up with the same spray, which I used to spray much more. I'm glad it was natural but the mint scent was bad enough to burn our eyes. We were forced to deal with this and while the ant population decreased over the next 24 hours, it never actually subsided. We stepped on ants very regularly during our stay. I asked twice via Expedia to speak to a manager and did not get a response. Poor follow up customer service. I will not be returning here and will consider this if I see a Day's Inn option in any of my travels.
