Front desk staff and housekeepers were super nice. There was water in the lobby which was nice and a little note on a whiteboard in the room when we got there. Great location in Brooklyn on a safe street! Would stay here again.

For a visit to Brooklyn, this hotel was very well located. Just steps from a couple of different subway stops, very close to Barclay Center and Atlantic Station. Also on a smaller side street for easy Uber pickup. We were not happy with the first room assigned to us, but the front desk staff was very accommodating. The rooms are a bit smaller than we are accustomed to, and the front door was hard to spot. Down to basics - we slept well and were close to Williamsburg and Fort Green neighborhoods.

We always stay at Even Hotel during our trips to Brooklyn. The hotel is super clean, secure, convenient to restaurants. The beds are amazing! Like sleeping on a cloud! The bathrooms are spacious. Parking is available right across the street. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the Brooklyn Bridge.

The hotel was in a good location in regards to transportation and our need to walk to Barclays Center. The room was spacious compared to other hotels in the area. The negatives: it was very basic, there was a lot of noise (a train felt like it was running underneath us, ice machine all hours of the night, outside noise was not at all blocked out), pets (the elevator and hall ways smelled like a dirty dog), there was definitely something in the air (I could not breath at night, stuffy and congested while in the room).

So disappointing. We arrived after midnight due to a delayed flight. The front desk let my daughter and I in, while there were two men just standing at the front desk talking to each other. The employee finally offered to help us after standing there for a few minutes. Then we got to our room on the 4th floor. There was an a/c floor unit with a big tube out the window. Loud noises from the street. No remote control for the TV, the front desk brought us one but was not working or programmed. And no hair dryer. Very disappointing after we had stayed here in the past and it was a great stay. I would not recommend this hotel after this stay!

While the rooms are pretty compact this property is conveniently located very close to Downtown Brooklyn (Barclays etc.) - and is very well maintained. Breakfast took a little long to be served in the morning - but in general everyone at the hotel was friendly, curteous, and extremely helpful.
