"I’ve traveled extensively and this is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere. The rooms are stunning. The whole hotel is stunning. There was a separate toilet and then a shower with sink that could be closed off with opaque glass doors. High quality amenities like Nespresso, slippers are robes. Truly an outstanding experience."

Gleich neben der Unterkunft ist ein tolles Frühstückrestaurant das OAKEN CAFE. Die Zimmer sind auf zwei Ebenen verteilt und werden über Außentüren erreicht. Die Zimmer sind behaglich eingerichtet. Der Blick geht in den schön begrünten Innenbereich. Eine kleine Oase! (Früher hieß die Unterkunft "Great King Motel") Wir kommen gerne...

Unit was quite cold when we first arrived but by the next day was warm. Also electric blankets on beds. Need those in Dunedin in winter. Really enjoyed our stay and would book again."

"The accomodation here is unlike any backpackers you may have seen or stayed at on your travels. An old but gracious manor that has been refurbed in a style that definitely would be termed "lived in luxury " that "embraces nostalgia" .......its central to Dunedin City , has an outside seated smokers area where there is a bbq available to use and doubles as a great space to share drinks and chillax to music as it is sheltered from the road and has privacy from neighbouring homes. .
