"Lovely quirky place, close to the local amenities! Everything was catered for and a welcome gift greeted us on arrival. The secluded garden was a little treat to relax in. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking outside and on the street! Will definitely come back!"

"The house is probably fine if you stay there in the summer, but we stayed 14-18th November 2025. The house is freezing cold and to further 'improve' the experience, the company that rents the house have decided to limit the temperature the thermostat can be turned up to. In addition all the bedroom radiator valves have been jammed. So the house is cold and your ability to turn up the heating limited by the owner. "The plus side: Nice clean cottage, welcome basket with fresh bread, haribo sweets, wine. Flowers on table, tea, coffee, sugar and even treats for the dog. Sky/netflix. Bed very comfy. Nice white towels. Good communication from owner. 2 local pubs- the Nelson ...no food gd beer. Rising sun, pub grub. Both friendly pubs. negative side: Right on a very busy,noisy road. We could not work out why so many lorries etc cut through there. We did sort of get used to the noise except early...

"This property is lovely. The main living area comprises of a kitchen, dinner and living room with an open plan double bedroom above it. There is then a second bedroom with a door that closes. The layout maybe important depending on the make up of your party. The place was decorated very well. The beds were comfy. There was lots of places nearby that our 5&8yr olds loved. A great base for exploring."
