"Birch Lodge is beautifully decorated with furnishings from the era. Room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were clean and they offered a variety of activities to choose from. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. If ever in the UP again, we will definitely stay at their lodge. 😊 💛"

"This motel has no office or staff onsite, which at first may confuse guests, but they were very responsive when messaged online (to make sure they knew we were bringing a dog with us). The suite consists of one enormous room, with large, comfortable beds, two sofas (sofa beds), TV screen, a table for two, and a kitchen with full sized fridge, sink, coffee maker, two burners, microwave and toaster oven, well-enough equipped for cooking breakfast.
