There wasn’t any air conditioning for cold weather but we didn’t need it. It was well lit up at night outside which made our room very light for sleeping

Retro style little motel. Easy check in, as we arrived late at night and the room was set up for us to just walk in and collapse. Clean facilities. Within very short drive of a fab cafe - onyx - where we went for a pretty awesome brekky the next day.

Good position, and the bed was very comfortable, but, unfortunately we were not able to access free_to_air television, and some of the fixtures in the room were badly in need of repair and upgrading. We believe this is gradually being undertaken. A little disappointing seeing the price paid would have been for a room in far better condition. At least l was happy my dog could stay with me inside, for an extra fee. I hope the owners will be able to make the necessary improvements over time.

The room itself was terrible. Paint peeling off the doors, the bright light outside was on all night. It was like daylight inside the unit. Had to use a cup to fill kettle ad it didn't fit under hand basin. Very disappointing.

Had to follow up via phone numerous times to be able to pay early and to then know what the key code was as we would be checking in late that night. The room was literally shocking when we walked in. Big holes in the walls, generally untidy, missing floor tiles in the bathroom, general state of disrepair. Honestly, it is by far the worst motel experience I have ever had, and I have stayed in numerous ones across the country.

The room was from the 1920. Outdated paint off walls, carpet ingrounded with dirt. The single bed mattress was like sleeping on concrete, and the queen was sunken in the middle. The pool was filthy. First night no sleep because of drugged up women abusing each other all night. At this stage should not have 1 star. I should have been refunded 50% of rates. A lot of work needs to be done.

Was water damage to the walls and ceiling in the bedroom and bathroom. Stains on the sheets. Water heater outside my room was SO loud whenever anybody was using any water. Half the lights didn’t work. Only upsides were the mirror, microwave and mini fridge to put our food in.
