"Theres no continental breakfast., no swimm8ng pool for hot days. negative ... but there are places to eat breakfast. Dine and dash you need to get in your car, but TJs Roadhouse is 100 ft away. Other small places to eat across the street and downtown. Mama's kitchen downtown for quick breakfast like muffins, pastries
Very pet friendly. Extra charge of course. Small outdoor area with table & chairs. Its a very old motel but comfortable. Have stayed twice.

"Quaint and beautiful historic hotel! Right in downtown Placerville. We loved strolling from the hotel to all the cute shops and antique stores along the row.
Hotel itself was clean, well managed with friendly staff. Shower was hot with great pressure! We loved the antique look of the rooms.
Bonus: if you like ghosts and spooky stories, this hotel is great! We loved watching the Portals to Hell episode about the hotel… in the hotel!
Overall, fantastic experience. We would stay here again if...
