"Room had recently been renovated, but the furniture had not been replaced. Couch was dated, dingy, and stained. Bathroom vanity was damaged. Floor was FILTHY! My white socks turned black from just a small amount of walking around the room. No hot water 2 times during our 2-night stay.
Bed was comfy even though the pillows were tiny. Shower was nice (when we had hot water and could use it)."

"Hotel was in a safe area and was quiet and staff was nice. The lobby, stairway and our room all smelled of cooked food all 3 days we were there. The stairs needed to be vacuumed and the vestibule had a very bad smell.
The room itself was clean. Bed was okay. I saw people taking advantage of the continental breakfast."

"I had a great experience staying here. The location is excellent and very convenient, and the property was clean and comfortable.
Most importantly, I want to give a big thank-you to the staff. My wife accidentally left her necklace in the room after we checked out and the staff found it and kept it safe. I was able to come back and pick it up the next day. I truly appreciate their honesty and kindness—it meant so much to my wife.

"We were in Newport for the Jazz Festival. The accommodations were very good, location convenient for everything. Pictures accurately depict the property.
The only thing that I would suggest be improved is the wifi. We ended up using our phone hotspot to connect when we were in the room.
We would stay there again."

"Few complaints about the inn itself. The problem started on the day before our arrival with an email from an unknown company saying "We need a valid copy of your ID before we can provide". I had fully paid for my room 8 months in advance. It turned out that the company owns this as well as other inns. The Director I spoke with on the phone implied they would not provide a room key code unless I agreed to their extensive legal conditions and sent my driver's license image."
