"gemütliche Wohnung gegenüber (über die Strasse) des Strandes vor Belfast. Zusätzlich kleiner Garten und alles Wichtige wie Spar, etc ganz in der Nähe zu Fuss erreichbar. Meine Hundedame und ich haben den Aufenthalt sowie die täglichen Spaziergänge am Strand sehr genossen."

If you would prefer something a little different to the same old boring hotels and you don't want or need to be in the centre of Belfast, I would highly recommend."

"Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle."

"It was amazing. Surrounded by hills and the Mourne mountains and a view of the ocean in the distance. Woke up to cows in the front pasture and sheep in the back pasture each morning. So peaceful there. Cottage has everything one would need for a very pleasant stay."

"Clean, quiet, beautiful country residence located within an idyllic equestrian centre. Close to restaurants and tourist spots in Bangor and Donaghadee. Our dog really enjoyed the trip too. Trevor, the host, was a gentleman. Thoroughly recommended!"

"The location is good. Busy road during the day but quiet at night. The cottage has the charm of being old but it does require some attend to the deco, particularly in the bathroom and the kitchen. They could do with a refresh. Top bedrooms and the ones downstairs were in good order. "

"A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "
