"Nice place, only an overnight stay. A slight walk from the main road if you're on foot, under 10 mins. No direct transport from Newton Abbot station but if you fancy a 30-minute walk it's not a bad route. On the tip end of River Teign and quite scenic with a nice outdoor garden. Guessing you can take dogs in as they have a dog wash on site :) Restaurant and bar has some good choices."

"Lovely stay at Arran lodge. Owners very friendly and approachable. Room was very clean, well decorated and comfortable. Stayed in room with balcony which was ideal for smokers, we were advised there was no problem with smoking on the balcony.
Quite a walk to the marina but good to keep fit. Easy walk to the seafront.
Would definitely stay again."

"Had a lovely night away. Room was clean and nice to have a fridge with fresh milk for coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. "The staff were very helpful and accommodating, assisting with calling taxis and holding luggage. The included breakfast was tasty and plentiful, the only drawback was it ended at 9:00am. Our shared family room was a nice size with two televisions and good wifi but in the height of summer it got a little warm. The location is beautiful and relaxing."
