"Very clean property. Hotel looks a bit tired and maybe could do with a makeover. Food very expensive for what you receive. We stayed in the lodge while it was very clean the shower was not fit for purpose, no pressure and if you are over 5foot8 impossible to get under shower head. The lodge rooms are very close together while it is not the property itself fault the doors banging shut in the lodge building was extremely loud. This was going on most of night and early mornings. "My son and I traveled from Canada 🇨🇦. Newtonmore is a very quiet, quaint village. The Glen was a very lovely central place to stay. The room was clean, staff very attentive and helpful.Meals were amazing with breakfast included in your stay except Mondays. There is a diner a short walk away, and a couple of cafes down the street. We loved it. "

"Staff are great and helpful. Our room, on the second floor, was too far away to get internet to make the smart tv function. Our room was quite noisy facing the road and the railway.
Other than those small gripes it’s a lovely friendly place with a good breakfast. The staff did all they could to fix the TV problems. "
