Amazing beach getaway!

Great place to unwind and get away from the buzz at Nha Trang. The facilities at this hotel are amazing, from the clean beaches, to the pools, mudbaths great walks around the property. Staff is friendly and accommodating to a variety of requests. An amazing stay all-around.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, and although the gym was small, it had an amazing view. The staff was reasonably friendly and we loved our bungalow with private pool.

This is a beautiful resort and it’s a well maintained. The staff were very polite and helpful and the beach was stunning. Breakfast was nice but not spectacular. They do however take advantage of you being on an island and the food and drink prices are very expensive. It would also be nice if the boats to the mainland were more frequent.

Nice beach and pool- beautiful layout with quaint accommodations- very pleasant and well trained staff- oh and the life guard was very attentive (as was everyone to be fair). A good place you will be happy

Great place at a calm spot.

Great place for a getaway from all the hustle in town. The place is on an small island with nice clean beach and pool area. Next to the resort there is a mineral batch och mudspa open to the public. During mid day a bit crowded. If you arrive early,8:30, you have the mud spa for your self. The resort could develop the resortguest handling in order to make it feel more exclusive.

Mud spa was nice, but is was hot, with 32 Celsius degrees outside! Food was good. Had to wait long time for buggy to get around the property. Staff friendly and helpful. Ferry to mainland, only every 2 hrs.

A fantastic stay that I would recommend despite a few minor setbacks, including stickers on the shower and bath tub walls that should have been removed before our arrival, a rain shower head that didn’t work, and trash floating up into the beaches (there was even a situation with a dead dog floating in the water, I wish I was kidding). Even considering those things, I’d still recommend this place. The grounds are beautiful, the staff was attentive, free breakfast with enormous options, and lovely amenities. The spa with the Pamper Yourself option is a must-try. In my view this place was worth every penny!

Scenery is spectacular. And the service staff from the check in point to housekeeping to bellman is topnotch. Amenities in the room are outdated and need upgraded. Minibar closet is falling apart. Minh the bellman is the best!

Crystal clear sea. Beautiful lush foliage. We were here many years ago and the bungalows have not changed in all that time. They are in need of a little sprucing up but are fine considering the price. The resort area is smaller now as they have mud baths and beach for just the day visitors, but it is still quiet. Buffet breakfast was surprisingly good, and the only restaurant had good choices for evening meal. With resort credit and free transport to the island the price is really a bargain and a stay here should not be missed.

Completely recommended!

The resort is just amazing! The facilities are very well mantained, the staff is super helpful and friendly and all meals have a huge range of options. The breakfast buffet is perfect. There are only two minor things we would improve: -Provide information about how to reach the resort. Perhaps as an automatic email after having done the reservation. -Provide information about possible activities in the island e.g., water activities, mud baths, spa, etc. Maybe in a flyer after checking in.

The room was spacious with a beautiful view. The staff was very helpful. Kim gave a very nice service also I got help from the receptionist with my fly ticket. The pool was beautiful. The snorkeling was disappointing. They charge 300,000 dong to rent a mask for 15 minutes. It was a very small area in front of the hotel beach. It should be free for guests. I wanted to go on snorkling tours with companies that leave from Nha Trang since there were no group tours that leave from the hotel. There was no time, the first boats only leave at 8:30 for the city.

The pool was lovely and the beach was beautiful and clean. There was only one place where we could get food that was half decent and open. There was another at the other end of the island but it was mainly a seafood buffet that was not very nice. We only ate the rice. There is not where to get snacks or anything else, it's all in-house purchases. The activities that were available were not great value and setup for quick turn over tourists. We went parasailing for about 5mins only. The staff were very nice and tried very hard to assist us and they can not be faulted. Their English was limited and our Vietnamese was non-existent. I can eat seafood and my daughter is lactose intolerant. This gave us very limited options. Especially when they gave us a set breakfast menu instead of the buffet. We found that we booked for a different stay than we got and would not have stayed as long if we new it was half closed. A stay 1 or 2 nights max is enough.

Stayed at the resort for 5 days 4 nights. To be honest it is no where near a 5 star standard resort. The resort is by itself on the island and there isn't anything around it beside the crowded mud bath area where all the visitors come to island to try once and leave by 4 pm. There are multi boats that take you from Hon Tam back to mainland Nha Trang city but do beware that the last returning boat is at 9:30pm after that you will get overcharged a hefty fee of 1.4 MLN vnd. Its a typical normal thing for most resort im not complaining, the biggest issue I had was simple: I paid to have some privacy and quiet time to relax on my vacation yet: 5 mins before check out resort people used their card and forced his way into the room only to claim they didnt know i am still in the room, then momentarily another resort employee banged on the door and rushed me to get out even when its not check out time yet. I checked in early and paid half day ahead as well, 1 hour after moving my suitcases in the AC stopped working so they sent a technician over to fix. The next day the AC stopped working again, and through out that day electricity went out twice leaving us hot and sweaty inside the villa. The villa was falsely advertised online with pictures with the pool, plot twist you will have to share the pool with 3 other rooms in 1 whole villa of 4 rooms. Not your private pool. No big deal we didnt really care about the pool. The glasses inside the bathroom came with a dead bug trapped inside

We enjoyed our stay at Hon Tam Resort. The executive suites were enormous, huge beds. Very comfortable. There were 4 executive suites per villa. With each villa having a private pool. Totally luxurious. The breakfast at the only restaurant was tasty with a good selection and daily changing local dishes. Everything was fresh and well made. The coffee was strong and plentiful. My criticism of the resort is their lack of service and quality when it comes food and drink. Aside from breakfast nothing else is worth eating. The a la carte menu isn’t executed well. The room service menu is a poor representation of itself. There wasn’t any service at the swim up bar. No one came to take orders while poolside or at the beach. They could be making so much money from us and everyone around us if they had any initiative. Such a wasted opportunity as we were a captive audience, without a shop on the island. Even the mini bar was barely stocked and never replenished during our 6 night stay. There wasn’t even a bar that we could frequent. Such a poor offering. Also, please turn down the thumping music at the pool.
