"My son and I stayed one night on Easter Weekend on our way through the area. I've stayed in Whistler many other times in a tent and a travel trailer and had much more restful sleeps! For a kitchenette unit, it had almost no useful dishes (including no coffee cups for the coffee maker!), there was no blanket for the sofa bed for my son and we were woken up repeatedly by loud sounds starting at 4:30am. "Beware what the listing for the room says. Mine said king bed studio. Nowhere did it say it was a MURPHY bed, ie not a real mattress - plus the bed angled down towards the head. I asked front desk if it was possible to change rooms but they said the king bed rooms are not part of the hotel, that they are privately and the hotel has no control. In addition, I tried to contact Expedia because I booked “Cascade Lodge Hotel” via them but it was impossible to speak to an actual person. The room...

"The best thing is the height of the underground garage for tall vehicles and it is heated also. They have a ski storage room at the lobby. Two blocks from the Whistler base gondolas!! Friendly, helpful staff. I have stayed there many times over the last 20 years."
