"Beautiful rooms and property. The size of the rooms were fantastic. We had a wonderful stay! I only deducted a star because there’s no room service and some of the vending machines are inside the onsen area, so they aren’t accessible by both men and women on particular days. Also be aware that only one onsen has a Mountain View, and it may not be your day to use it if you’re a man or woman,"

"Everything about our stay was perfect and wished we stayed more than one night. The food was great and truly enjoyed the experience. The open-air hot spring bath was heavenly. They picked us up from the station by the open air museum and dropped us off at Gora station in the morning. I went as a girls’ getaway, but definitely perfect for couples!"

"Very nice property. The home is very clean and rather spacious. Very close to nearby public transport which makes it very easy to get around. Location is rather walkable as well to other restaurants and coffee shops. Enjoyable more immersive experience to the neighborhood. There's a great little coffee house literally seconds away. "Very clean and modern, in a great location for the Hakone loop. The beds are VERY uncomfortable- both the futons and the single beds which are soooo noisy it’s impossible to sleep because every time you breathe they creak. Apart from the very poor sleep, this place had everything you needed with a well stocked kitchen and nice bathroom."

"An amazing house with great volume, vaulted ceilings, 4 bedrooms and a private onsen bath. The house was beautiful, perfectly located near all the exciting restaurants and sights around Hakone. A perfect place to spend a few days and I wish we had more time to truly enjoy it fully. Lots of windows, a beautiful garden, gorgeous interior with wood paneling everywhere and some rooms with traditional tatami mats. Highly recommend !"

"I have stayed in my fair number of hostels and guesthouses in Japan and this is my new favourite. The atmosphere was so nice, offering like family dinner traditional cooked and eaten together, is a beautifully maintained traditional property. Location was perfect and I highly reccomend, couple hundred metres from the 2nd last stop on the train up (lawson also at the station) and the bus to head down the opposite way is also only 600-700metres away (also 7/11 there). It made for an easy escape...
