Top Ninth Ward Hotel Reviews
Crowne Plaza New Orleans French Qtr - Astor by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Love everything about it!!"
Chateau Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Elaine at the front desk was a gem! She was able to help provide some great local food options, helped us organize our return to the airport as well as periodic check-ins to make sure we were enjoying our stay."
Virgin Hotels New Orleans
10/10 Excellent
"Loved everything about this hotel !"
Hotel Mazarin
10/10 Excellent
"Like all hotels in the French Quarter, this is an older hotel but was very well maintained. There were workers cleaning and painting hallways during the day. It is very convenient to restaurants and entertainment. It is about 7 blocks to the Cathedral and Jackson Square and 2 blocks to Bourbon Street."
The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The Waldorf Astoria Hilton Hotel has the best of both worlds: 1920s charm but up to date, clean, comfortable and modern amenities/rooms. The housekeeping staff was exceptionally kind, as well as the reception staff. The restaurant they have for breakfast was great; the rooftop pool, while not super large, was still lovely and well maintained. I felt safe and pampered at the hotel. It is in walking distance to a grocery store, Walgreens, and of course, to Bourbon Street and all the fun restaurants and bars and shops. I will definitely book with them again if and when I return to New Orleans."
Sonesta ES Suites New Orleans Downtown
8/10 Good
"good free breakfast, rooms were great, the staff was friendly and kind, and the parking is convenient!"
Sheraton New Orleans Hotel
8/10 Good
"Didn't like the complementary package thst they charged you on the back end for. The carpets spelled like mildew in hot temperatures settings."
Holiday Inn FRENCH QUARTER-CHATEAU LEMOYNE by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Friendly staff and an amazing location right in the heart of the French Quarter. The quaint pool area is outdoors yet enclosed, with plenty of seating. Rooms are well-equipped with all the essentials and offer very hot water. Super convenient to Dillard University, which was perfect for moving my daughter into college."
Le Richelieu Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed at the Le Richelieu for 5 nights in the beginning of August of this year, 2026. Although NoLa was more empty of the Isaiah tourist crowd and it was hot, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel to which I return every single time when I visit New Orleans for a vacation trip. The hotel is great located; all sights are in walking distance and the hotel staff is at any day and nigh time friendly to every guest. A warm „Thank you from Anke!“ hies pit to Rebecca, Becca, at the front desk. She had at any time a very positive attitude and was very helpful to answer all questions. Not only mine ad I could observe. The hotel is very quiet inside; a pleasant opposite of the at times loud surroundings- especially st night. I will come to this hotel again this Christmas. Anke"
