"The location on Canal St is brilliant, right in the heart of everything. Doubletree Cookies are always such a welcomed treat. For breakfast, would have loved an omelette station for variety. Happy hour specials at the bar were great. Ran out of soap and coffee cups so had to request it from the janitorial staff. Other"

"Very clean hotel and rooms. Nicely updated large deluxe room with balcony, very comfortable bed, and a/c worked extremely well!! Our safe didn’t work and a tool needed to be ordered in order to change the battery, and unfortunately they never came back to fix it. Ice machines were on every floor but only the 4th floor ice machine worked, but was not that big of a deal since we still had access to ice 👍 There is no bellman or luggage cart so be prepared to do it yourself. However, Pierre that checked us in offered to help us but we took care of it on our own. Nice quaint swimming pool was so refreshing. We’ll definitely use this hotel again!"

"Hotel was clean and the staff was amazing, they truly made you feel welcome to the hotel. It was an overall great stay, the only thing that could've made it better would be the room being equipped w/ a mini fridge and microwave. But perhaps these items aren't possible due to it being an old style hotel. Either way I'd stay again."
