"What was not to like? This B&B is quite unique with all its rooms which are full of unique antiques. There are lots of places where you can curl up with a book or enjoy the company of fellow guests. The location on a hill makes the house stand out. The gardens are gorgeous with their many kinds of plants and flowers. There even is a hot tub and swimming pool in the back yard. "Clean and well cared for room. Mattress (in our room) was enclosed in zippered waterproof cover. The hallways were very clean. Receptionist was polite and clear in his questions. Well lit parking lot. "

"Everything electronic, except for the refrigerator was unplugged. The bedside lamp was broken. There was soap residue on the shower drain. There was no type of soap products in the bathroom or shower. The mirror was covered with hand prints. Had to have maintenance to turn the heat on.I spent the night there simply because I had driven 600 miles. I would not stayed there if my wife was with me. At least I didn’t see anything crawling. Check in and out process is atrocious."

"The food was wonderful and very fresh! The beds were very comfortable! Each room is thermostatically controlled and has its own charm. The floors and stairs are creaky but adds to the charm of an old home. Laurie is such a great host! We enjoyed her company very much! She made our stay so nice! We would definitely stay there again!"

"I first want to say the owners are very nice. I do think they wanted us to feel comfortable and welcome. The house is old and beautiful, my curiosity of growing up near this property made me want to stay here instead of Hampton Inn. The access to the living and dining room was appealing because my family still lives in keokuk and we don’t have anywhere big enough to relax and visit together. "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a wonderful stay at the Nauvoo Temple house stay. The home was clean, peaceful, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The location was amazing and made our temple visit so special and convenient. We truly felt the spirit of Nauvoo during our stay. Thank you for the warm hospitality and for making our trip such a memorable experience. We would absolutely love to stay here again! Just one thing Refrigerator wasn’t working and our drinks and food didn’t get cold."
