"When I arrived, late at night wanting to just get into my room the front desk staff spent way too much time with someone who didn't have a room, the hotel was fully booked so they went out of their way to ask me to wait until they found them a hotel near by that was not booked. That person left the hotel front lobby I finally started my check in and the front desk staff asked if I could wait again so they could run after that person with info, I said once you give me my cards so I can get to my room which I booked a long time ago and have paid for sure.
I stayed here before, I enjoy the hotel it's simple, easy, the breakfast is decent, my issues are I don't know the age, and yet it has very low level toilets, I'm not overly tall but these things are in the basement. Also our bathroom door did not actually latch, not sure if the hinges are worn, the frame is twisting or what, door seemed solid but the latch was not cleaning the plate.
I don't like change and if I'm in the area I'll probably stay there again, I upgraded our room, I didn't have issues with the price, just follow through on the upkeep and attention to detail. Guests who have booked and paid for rooms should get preferential treatment over ones who didn't book, epically when there are no available rooms."
