"We stayed here with our 8-month-old baby, and the staff absolutely loved her! We had a room on the bottom floor, which worked great with the stroller; however, the hotel isn't accessible, meaning you need to use the stairs to get around the hotel, which was a bit annoying with the stroller but doable for us. Also, there are paving slabs to the rooms on the bottom floor, which isn't so stroller friendly.
The room itself was lovely! There was a bit of a weird smell in the bathroom area—but you kind of got used to this. They provided a baby cot as well, which was great. The mini bar is well priced; you need to call to get this restocked. The housekeeping to tidy the room daily came late afternoon (4/5pm) which was a little annoying as it's when our baby napped.
Staff are wonderful here. It was my birthday, and they had made a display on the bed for when we arrived, complete with a slice of chocolate cake! That was so unexpected and such a nice touch! On my actual birthday too, they did the same with the towels and leaf writing.
The breakfast was ok too; there was an omelette station, which we used most days. The service for lunch is a bit slow—whether you're eating in the restaurant or on the beds. They often don't have some things, so prepare a backup option! But the lunch food is good and well made.
The pool is lovely; the water isn't as crystal clear as I would have expected, but we swam in it no problem. The pool area is small, but we were never unable to get a bed.
