"If you like a vintage motel that reminds you of a way back motor lodge, this is the perfect place for you. No phone in the room with everyone having cell phones now. The walk to the office is simple and short. Free coffee! Great ice machine and Coke vending machine. It was very low-key and not many people since they don’t have a lot of rooms. So nice! The area is safe with modern conveniences close. There’s a Publix and Dollar General within walking distance. We did need to Uber to the beach but...

"They put me in the room closest to the highway and with an adjoining room. I could barely sleep with the noise of cars zooming up and down the highway and the person next door blaring the TV watching some kind of action movie. The room was small and had a crack under the door to the outside which let in the cold air and the A/C unit blew cold air even thought I set it for HEAT. Continental breakfast was lame."

"No hot water for the shower. I was told it took a few minutes but that did not happen. Weather stripping around the doors needs to be replaced. Would not stay there again. "

"A must stay if you are in the Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area. The house was spotless and had everything you needed for a homelike feeling. Spacious and well equipped with the necessities for everyday comfort in a quiet neighborhood. Close to main road with access to shopping and restaurants. Better than an "extended stay" hotel."

"Nice room. Very good refrigerator and microwave. Only issue, there was no place to set anything in the shower. You had to put your soap, shampoo,etc in the floor of the shower. Not very practicle to keep bending over. The shower was very clean as was the whole room."

"Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean but hallways/corridors and outdoor areas need some attention insofar as vacuuming and picking up small pieces of trash. The room was clean but not too well insulated. Lots of noise from the floor above at 3:00 a.m. Since there are quite a few work crews staying there, they may have been getting ready to go to jobsites. Overall it was okay for an overnight work trip."

"This hotel is absolutely superb. All the staff pay close attention to detail and are extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area is wonderful. Never had to go and put towel on a chair to be able to enjoy the pool area. The buffet breakfast was good. Highly recommend and will definitely return. "

"I booked a room with a roll in shower yet the hotel knew at the time that the appropriate room was already booked and never told me. Manager (3/18 a.m.) at the front desk rather impolitely said we our franchise and not responsible for what Marriott corporate does. Other front desk staff were very nice and try to be accommodating."
