The area was suspect from the start. The expectation of $4.00 due on arrival tripled to $12.00 and the room was as Spartan as they come. It was late and raining so the beach was not an option. If I had to do it again I would go towards Virginia Beach and find nicer lodging. No coffee in the room or coffee in the lobby or anything to have for a quick breakfast.

After 7 PM, they close the lobby. You have to walk the stairs to go to your room. They shut down the elevator. The place is dirty. The place is messy. The owner is nasty and rude telling us to shut up while he’s talking very nasty place to be with it needs to shut down and rebuild and the State need to come in and clean it up

Great so close to fishing pier. Though I do wish the beds were a bit softer but I’m spoiled to my own bed wasn’t awful a couple extra pillows would be nice but it was clean and served my purpose.

The staff at Budget Inn was welcoming and supportive throughout my stay. I visited with my church group for a baptism, and the front desk representative was especially accommodating regarding my check-out timing, ensuring I had the flexibility I needed. I truly appreciate the hospitality and would definitely consider booking again in the future. Thank you to the entire Budget Inn team!

My family and I stayed here in 3 different rooms for a weekend and none of us had a good experience. There are so many things wrong with this place. It's nothing like the pictures at all. The building is falling apart literally. The staff was not friendly. The rooms had terrible smells in them ranging from mold and rotting wood to drugs to sewer smells. The towels and sheets had stains on them and smelled like they hadn't been washed. It's always noisy either from other guests or the surrounding areas and traffic. The ac in the room I stayed in put off a mildew smell. The sinks are either broken or are just designed terribly as they shoot water straight at you if you turn the water on any higher than a trickle. The floors were dirty and the bathrooms were filthy. I could go on and on about how horrible this place is. Save yourself some trouble and book somewhere else.

This place is terrible I would not recommend this place to anyone. The rooms were dirty, the towels were dingy. There wasn't a blanket on the bed only window curtain. When i ask for a blanket it had 3 three cigarette burns and stains I asked for new towels I was told to bring the towels the towels we had and they would wash them and give them back. I think the unhoused live there. The police came in droves i believe it was some kind of drug or prostitution bus. When I took a shower the whole handle fell off while i was trying to turn the water off.My cousin also traveled with us their first room had black mold on the celling then second room a man was doing construction. They also only had a curt

The first two rooms I was put in neither one had a security latch. The third room I got put in there was smudges and everything all over the sheets. It looked like possible semen stains on the blanket. The staff however was very friendly and they did take care of the problems immediately. The shower leaked but it still had great shower pressure so that wasn't a deal-breaker. I just hope they don't have issues with that in the future which I'm sure they will. I will say for as uncomfortable as the bed was I did sleep fairly well. I was more awoken by traffic noise then the bed itself. I will end this on a positive and say the view of the ocean right there is very beautiful. I you get what you pay for and if you're looking for a nice cheap spot there are worse places.

The room smelt terrible. The floor was dirty. AC and lights did not work properly. Bathroom door did not close fully or lock. No dustbin or soap in the bathroom. Sink tap spilled water everywhere but the sink. Beds kept creaking.
