"Die (wenigen) vorhandenen Annehmlichkeiten waren sehr gut"

"Very friendly staff and good facilities!"

"A lovely, quiet inn with spacious, clean rooms in a super convenient location near bus stations and shops. A couple of unique highlights: you swap your shoes for indoor footwear at the entrance, and they only have three family onsens (two indoor, one outdoor) on a first-come, first-served basis. You have to wait outside if the onsen is occupied by another family. Overall, a very happy and enjoyable stay!""

"A fabulous traditional experience especially when you include half board and enjoy a Japanese dinner and breakfast. Everyone at the ryokan was very friendly and our group loved our stay."

"A real honor to be able to experience this ryokan ! The room had a private Onsen which was already full and ready for us to use when we arrived. Everything was clean and comfortable The food and breakfast also very delicious So lucky we got to stay here during our trip and we experienced Narai Juku before all tourists came to sight see . Certainly a highlight"

"靴はロッカーに預け、全館スリッパで過ごすので快適です。宿泊者限定で、隣のホテルの温泉にも入れました。二つの温泉を体験できてお得感です。どちらも良いお湯です。食事はバイキング形式でしたが好きなものを美味しくいただきました。平湯バスターミナルに近く、上高地観光に最適でした。"

"The Inn is about a 15 minute walk from Narai station. It is located in a former elementary school which gives it a nice look and feel. The lounge area is a nice place the sit and relax. Keep in mind that after 15:30 it is no longer possible to order coffee. For diner they serve 2 sorts of pizza, margeritha and quatro formaggi. "Great Experience overall, very clean, comfortable and close to the main area in Takayama. A very short walk to the old town. Breakfast was great, but in the future hopefully will have a wider range of food selection for the breakfast."

"The food is super good."

"Gute Unterkunft, das zugebuchte Essen ist ausbaufähig und hat nicht unseren Geschmack getroffen. Das Zimmer war ohne Klimaanlage feucht. Ansonsten toller Onsen und super Erfahrung mit klassischem japanischen Zimmer."
