"Had a lovely night in the celtic Manor. The room and pool was lovely. The only shame was the cost of the meal in the evening as £22 for rice, battered chicken pieces and two slices of cucumber and tomatoe is a lot.... Also no biscuits in the room to have with my cup of tea. But staff and facilities were lovely"

"Allowed us an early check in which was amazing. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Staff were kind and helpful. Walking distance to all the shops and food you need. Very convenient. Rooms were big, spacious and clean."

"While struggling with the self check in computers I asked a staff member if I could check in with him and he just said “no it’s self check in. Use the computer”. He still had to create the room key, which didn’t work, so I returned to the lobby for a new one, which also didn’t work. I was then told “I don’t think any key will work, except for mine. So if you go out, I’ll have to let you back in.” You would think he would offer to move us to another room where a key did work. But no such luck. Once in the room, it was spacious and had a decent shower. The extractor fan, that turned on automatically with the light, was extremely loud!"

"Stayed in this hotel many years ago. It's ideally located, clean, responsive and helpful staff. Well positioned for next door carparking. Quality place to stay, it's a little tired in a few places, but that's being a bit picky. Very worthwhile using this hotel."
