Hotel was clean and check in was simple. Not in the best area but we felt very safe in the building

This is an unconventional property. It is not a luxury property. Be prepared that its not what you might expect. I stayed the night and it was ok in an emergency. night
Was not a good spot for family. The keys were left inside the door. The back door was wide open. There were dirty linens on the kitchen table. We did not stay there, we left and went to an actual hotel room. Lost the money spent on booking this stay, but was not going to have my family at this place and be uncomfortable the whole night. Do not recommend
I was shocked to find out that the Drift was not in fact a hotel. The picture on Hotels.com shows a very nice and spacious room. I got a room barely big enough for a queen size mattress. My room did not have a bathroom in it. I had to share an impossibly small bathroom with five other rooms.
I would never recommend this property to anyone. The only nice thing I can say about the Drift is that it was clean.
If you paid more than $50 a night … you overpaid. Not a motel or hotel, not even an Inn, more like a bunkhouse located in an industrial area. Very small room with a bed and wicker chair. Small bathroom, broken faucet and toilet paper dispenser. That was it. No tv, closet or wardrobe. Very basic accomodation. Walls are paper thin, we could hear the kids next door quite clearly as well as the traffic going by on the busy road. Although we booked two nights, we left after one and lost our money on the prepaid second night.
it's one level old but renovated house with rooms.
There is nowhere the name of the property as it's presented.
No front desk or a host. You just enter to a house, that you share with other tenants and get into your room.
Not the best area, very noisy. No soundproof at all.
I could hear every single thing of outside noise and other rooms.
I didn't sleep a minute
Good we had it only for few hours cause we had early morning flight
Pictures of website very deceiving.
Good try but far from a good and safe hospitality.
Not recommended
This is not a hotel but a hostel. There are shared bathrooms and the common areas were filthy. The room I was placed in looked NOTHING like any of the pictures I viewed on hotels.com and literally was as big as the bed in it with enough room to walk around the bed only. There is no sign on this collection of mobile homes telling you you've arrived. Additionally, all keys are in all the doors so that anyone could take keys and copy them and return to take advantage of guests. As a woman, I felt very unsafe with this arrangement.
Additionally, the contact does not answer his phone and his voicemail message lets you know that he will not be responding unless he knows your phone number. I texted him after I attempted to leave a message. He upbraided me via text for trying to check in early although I was attempting to do so AFTER time he had emailed me telling me to check in. Notably HOTELS.com staff who attempted to contact him were not able to do so either and I received a refund due to this.
My Review of the Drift
1. On arrival we found out that the room they gave us was super small it could hardly hold our luggage, I paid for 3nights and had to basically have my girl sleep right up on me the whole night you move in the bed you fall that’s the kind of bed we had.
2. The pictures on Expedia weren’t as it seemed in person the pics made it seem that you would have your own bathroom and kitchen but no you have to share with people.
3. Upon arrival the bathroom that was provided to us had poop in the toilet I had to flush it, as grown people we shouldn’t have to remind people to clean after themselves.
4. The Drift smells like a marijuana dispensary after 8-9pm, atleast the dispensary smelt better, people kept smoking in their rooms at night turning the drift into a smelly mess.
5. The rugs in the bathroom was always wet toilets always dirty I had to flush the toilet on multiple occasions because the people that share with us kept peeing and pooping in the toilet and not flushing at all and when they did there were skid marks all over the toilet no one cares enough to keep the toilets clean.
6. There should be a sign TELLING these people to make sure that they KEEP BATHROOMS CLEAN!!!! Make sure to put their rags and towels in a place in their rooms that they can dry and keep them from smelling.
7. I felt like I couldn’t trust this place I hardly wanted to be there and hardly wanted to shower there that’s how bad it was I wouldn’t recommend anyone going to stay a
