"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. "A beautifully maintained and owner-cherished lodge in a peaceful surroundings away from the hubbub of normal life. A lovely relaxing place to spend time and to use as a base when enjoying the breathtaking views and experiences in the local area. "It was a lovely self- contained property for one or two people. I think it would feel crowded for any more. The hosts even bought a new TV when i couldn't watch the Olympics on the old one. The games room was great but if I hadn't known the people in the cottage next door, I don't know how i would have gained access. It was a lovely peaceful stay with everything I needed and very kind, helpful hosts. "

"We originally had a room in the main hotel which was large but we hadn’t spotted that they had lodges too. We upgraded to a lodge with hot tub for my wife’s 50th. Loved it. Well appointed and staff could not do enough for us. Went way above what was required and we are very grateful. Check in is in the coach house which is the restaurant. Now, food! Had breakfast there an evening meal and Sunday lunch. The standard is superb, loved it. The roast was huge and very very well done one of the best roasts I’ve had in a long time. Excellent. Had a prawn starter both nights and that was spot on. Burger was nailed totally. Applause to the team. Breaky was always first class well presented and staff absolutely lovely Thanks for a great weekend"
