"Breakfast was very good. A bit more communication when facilities such as areas of parking/swimming pool are unavailable would be appreciated. The swimming pool was closed I suspect for repair no apology and an area of car park nearest reception was closed off for an evening function Both unavoidable but no apology for the inconvenience caused."

"We love coming back to the Fox Inn every year, even though it’s one night, we always get a warm welcome and the most friendly staff you can imagine. The rooms are clean, with a good beverage selection supplied and priced very reasonably. Maybe because the location is fairly remote! The food is stunning be it breakfast or evening meal, and again sensibly priced. Overall, we loved the Fox Inn and will look to book again for next year. Highly recommended."

"We stayed at the Brace of Pheasants for one night and it was really lovely. The room was big, airy and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was lovely. We ate dinner in the pub and it was absolutely delicious. I am coeliac and Matt, the owner, was very knowledgeable when helping me to decide what to have. There were several choices for me and I can thoroughly recommend the lamb. My husband was on crutches when we stayed and the staff were very thoughtful and helpful. We would very much like to stay again if we get the opportunity."

"Check in was easy, room was ok. Everything you needed, everything worked. My only comment would be how hot the room (3) was. Absolutely stifling, quite possibly above the kitchen. Could feel the heat coming through the floor. It was only around 20C during the previous afternoon. I can only imagine how it would be on a hotter day. Breakfast was nice and the staff were great. It's a lovely hotel in a lovely village."
