"There is no staff and access is via a code. I arrive late at night but there were no lights to let me see the code box. Note that the room is very nice and clean, the bed was comfortable. However, there is no TV in room if that is important to you. Parking on the street was plentiful. I only saw one other guest the whole time I was there. "The hotel was clean and comfortable. The access road entering the main highway was treacherous getting into traffic. The check in time being 4pm was inconvenient for me because after traveling all day from Tennessee I arrived at the Sleepy Inn at 3pm exhausted and needing to rest. Instead I had to sit and wait, like I had been doing all day, which was frustrating."

"We came home in the afternoon and found our door open! A carpet mechanic was laying new carpet by our room and had the door to our room open to get carpet under the door.. Nothing was wrong inside but the loss of privacy was unsettling. We have stayed here before and liked the amenities and location . We should have been given a room far from the immediate work."

"We love the sister hotel in walla walla do we decided to give the sparrow a try. The staff and customer service were absolutely amazing. The hotel wasn’t super clean, our bathroom was dirty and the hallway smelled of strong air freshener covering up pet accidents, lots of stains on the carpet. It’s a great location walkable to everything downtown and the coffee shop was amazing."
