"The hotel itself was very nice and clean, but the service at the pool and valet was extremely disappointing and upsetting.
The pool was not busy, yet no one approached me for service. I had to stop multiple staff members just to order a drink and ask for a menu. My margarita took 30 minutes to arrive, the nachos took another 40 minutes, and even a Diet Coke took 15–20 minutes. When I asked for my check, it took nearly 40 minutes and three requests before I finally received it. I was also charged for a premium tequila I did not request, along with an automatic 20% gratuity, despite the poor service. When I finally received the check, the total was $60. The margarita was $22, plus a $7 upcharge for Bianco tequila, which I did not request. The nachos were $20, plus a $7 upcharge for carne asada, and the Diet Coke was $7. Additionally, a 20% gratuity was automatically applied—even though the service was extremely poor. Under normal circumstances, I would not have left a tip after such an experience.
The valet experience was just as frustrating. I was told my car would be ready in five minutes, but after nearly an hour of waiting, I was extremely upset. I did receive a refund for the Valet.
Overall, while the property is nice, the long wait times, lack of attention, and billing issues greatly impacted my experience."
