"Great staff great room for value"

"Wow, what a fabulous place for a Staycation. The buildings are all old and have been left in their original form however the rooms are great, the food great, the location however, fabulous. If you want a break and enjoy a walk and a glass of bubbles or two with a view, this is the place. I have lived in Sydney all my life and cannot believe I have never stayed her before. We will be back every 6 months."

"The location is amazing and the views are beautiful, the staff were lovely and friendly. They let us check in early and I’d definitely stay here again. The only negative things are that cleaning and maintenance staff could be a little more diligent. I told reception one of the bedside lamps wasn’t working and I’d left it on the main table in the room. Cleaning staff just put it back, plugged it in but it was never fixed. "Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. Thoroughly recommend."
