"The hotel is in a beautiful and restful setting. The staff could not have been more helpful. The restaurant food was brilliant. We enjoyed seeing the peacocks and other birds in the grounds."

"The hotel needs air conditioning in all bedrooms as the rooms were too hot. There were no fridges in the bedrooms to keep water cold etc which was disappointing as we had to ask for glasses of ice to do this. Staff were exceptional and the spa and swimming pool were really good. A great location on the edge of Dartmoor with access to some great walks."

"We had a very enjoyable three days stay. We had a 'Signature Double' room which was large with a King bed and a very large bathroom with a sea view. The breakfast was very good. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and the staff the same. They have a large car park. The hotel is just a short walk to the sea front."

"Parking was easy and safe. Location of the property was perfect both for accessing Dartmoor and wildlife spotting (lots of unusual birds in the grounds). Staying at Two Bridges was a treat; it is a unique hotel and has an amazing history"

"Excellent service, by a great team everyone is really welcoming. The hotel is a period property, and is due a bit of a refresh. The location of the hotel is excellent for river trips, exploring Fore st and buses to the local area. Very pet friendly!"

"Nice clean room but given disabled room which means wet room shower so constant wet floor! Good location for port & we were taking a ferry next day. Good breakfast & easy parking but not free. Kids in reception playing pool were a nuisance & parents did not control them which was a shame."

"Had a lovely night away. Room was clean and nice to have a fridge with fresh milk for coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. "Very clean hotel with very helpful staff however the restaurant menu should be changed more we stayed 4days but due to the poor menu we only ate in the restaurant once, due to the location it is very difficult to eat in other places The facilities were excellent"
