"It’s a fun historical inn . Great staff. The elevator requires staff to run it but they responded quickly . Were some dead flies in the window areas between the inside window and screen . But a clean room otherwise . Great food n bar ."

"From as soon as we arrived I was in heaven. Beautiful fall getaway it was for my husband and I. I loved the amenities including pool, jacuzzi, fireplaces, fire pit and smores provided. We ate right on the property and enjoyed every minute. We drove 1 hour into Lake placid everyday and hiked Mt. Jo and visited Whiteface mountain. We will be back!"

"The room had a refrigerator and a microwave which was great. The bed was also extremely comfortable and the bedding and linens were clean. The room was quiet and I didn’t hear a lot of noise from the other guests, and it was in a central location that felt safe and convenient."

"Always enjoy staying at the Swift House Inn. The rooms are all well appointed and the incredible breakfast at Jessica’s is such a lovely bonus. You won’t be disappointed when choosing the Swift House in Middlebury… beats every other accommodation by a mile!"
Silver Bay YMCA Inn and Conference Center

"This wonderful and historic is the property of the YMCA....... scenic spot with all kinds of opportunities for sports......pickle ball, tennis, water sports, gym, hiking, etc. Buildings are old and beautifully kept. Staff treats you like they've known you for years. Conference center but we went on our own. Food is ok....served cafeteria style. No restaurants close so take your own snacks."

"Charming old fashion Adirondack rustic style / decor individual small cabins (also has motel-styled rooms) - parking either in front of rooms or between cabins, a couple of minutes outside Chestertown, NY, 30 minutes from Schroon Lake, and 45 minutes from Ticonderoga (StarTrek Museum & Fort). Very nice, friendly, and accomidating owners / operators. Breakfast / coffee place "Two Sparrows" 5 minutes down the road. Driveway very well lite / marked at night, although wish those lights had either dimmed or turned off post midnight for a better / darker sleep . . . As it was a very wet / rainy, and cold night - heat worked very qickly / well and found extra pillows and blanket. Plenty of hot water in sink / shower, soap, shampoo, small college refrigerator and microwave provided, however no hairdryer for partner . . . Did not test WiFi as we only stayed for 8 hours total time. Would have wished to have had more time to explore grounds and Chestertown itself."
