"The Alamo Guest House offers ten rooms. It is small and that is its strength. The rooms are clean. The staff is extremely helpful. An excellent choice of cold and hot plates is offered for breakfast. There are a good choice of different restaurants near the Alamo. I highly recommend this hotel."

Things to remember, they don't do breakfast but there are cafes and a hotel across the road for breakfast. The room was clean and well stocked for staying but a little dated. Very comfortable bed. "I received an email from the host with accurate check-in information 1 day prior to check in. The breakfast was very minimal with toast being the only hot food offered. The windows in the room opened, allowing a nice breeze. The bed was soft and moderately comfortable. The view of the Sterling streets was nice and the property is within a 15 minute walk of the sterling castle. Be advised of spiral staircases making it difficult to get luggage larger than carry-on size up to the room. "

"Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig und alles war sauber und ordentlich. Sie Parkplätze befinden sich direkt hinter dem Haus und sind kostenfrei. Man kann in dem Hotel auch ganz hervorragend essen es gibt eine Auswahl an Burger, Pizza oder anderen Pub Gerichten. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Beim Frühstück hat man die Auswahl zwischen verschiedenen Speisen und diese werden am Tisch gereicht."
