"I called about a week ahead to request early check in and was told early check in would be at 11am for an additional fee which was fine but due to it being EDC weekend we made sure to be there on time especially with us requesting early check in. Upon arrival, we asked for a trolley and assistance with our bags. We had quite a lot of stuff with us so I tried being helpful and grabbed the ice chest we had brought with us off the trolley so the bellman wouldn’t struggle with stacking our bags. He very rudely said “you’re gonna carry that? You don’t even have a room to take it to” to which I responded I had a reservation & he shrugged his shoulders while also making a dismissing gesture with his hands. While he was unloading my vehicle I told my friends I would go check us in mean time & I told them to step onto the sidewalk as more cars were pulling up into valet & didn’t want them to get hit or be in someones way. Apparently the bellman was upset they walked onto the sidewalk & began making rude comments saying “what do i look like a bag man now?” “You guys are supposed to wait until I give you a ticket before you walk away” like yeah sure, let them stand in the way of other people dropping off their vehicles.
I made it to registration by 11:20 just to be told that registration wasn’t available yet & would be open at 11:30.. it was almost 11:40 & we were still waiting."
