"Rooms very small. By coincidence, we had just taken an overnight train. Our bedroom on the train may have been slightly larger than our bedroom at this hotel."

"Our experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing and fell far below reasonable expectations of cleanliness and service. The room and linens were not properly maintained. The bedding was unclean, and the pillowcases had visible stains, which is entirely unacceptable. In addition, the bathroom facilities were not functional. Both the shower and the sink were clogged, preventing proper drainage. We made multiple requests for assistance, yet no one came to address the issue during our stay....

"This has become my go-to hotel of late for NYC trips. Not because it's anything fancy, but the location right next to Penn Station, Amtrak, LIRR, and the A/C/E, 1/2/3, B/D/F/M, and 7 trains is so convenient. Many pilots & flight attendants whose regular route takes them to NY stay here for this reason. The staff, and particularly the housekeeping staff, is super-friendly. "It was dirty with pills and bloody wrapped up paper,. Maybe a pad. I didn’t open it. No soap in the bathroom and stains of blood by the window. Didn’t stay, and the front desk is fighting me for a refund. Immediately left and booked another room in a different hotel with my 3 kids "

"Cons: 1) The AC/heater was broken. It rattled constantly, all night long like a jack hammer was going off in the room. We let the front desk know and they tried to fix it. It wasn't constant, but it was still making that noise. 2)The toilet would randomly flush every hour or so, throughout the day and night. They were unable to fix that. 3)There is no cable. No local channels like CBS, ABC, NBC or Fox. Just a fire stick. The internet is so weak, we couldn't get any of the apps on the fire...

"Upon arriving we were a little hesitant, the outside leaves a lot to be desired. But this property did not disappoint. It was outdated and I did use Lysol wipes on surfaces in our room. But I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet, elevators were fast. Excellent location to Canal St.subway. Fantastic and clean bodega 24/7 next door.
