The club house itself was AMAZING with pool side service and access to a beautiful, though work in progress, beach area— and free with our stay at Hotel Manteo. My (only) gripe would be that the black out curtains didn’t cover the entire window! Difficult to sleep in, though while on a beach vacation that...

"The staff was nice enough. The rooms seemed very clean- just extremely dated. When I asked for extra pillow and blanket, they took care of it right away. Seems like mostly local workers are clients- maybe truck drivers etc. Not exactly the best place for a family stay. Just my opinion. I felt a little out of place."

"This property is old but quaint. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom has an old-time sink and there is no flat space for the things you use in the bathroom. We were on the second floor of three but there is no elevator. The breakfast choice was unique and great. You receive a certificate for a local restaurant. Overall we would stay again."

"The amenities were fantastic. It was nice to be able to walk right into the beach in the morning, spend the afternoon at the pool, and enjoy complimentary popcorn with the kids. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating when we arrived."

"While this place doesn't offer expensive amenities, it does offer them. This property is right on the beach, has a great little pool and really nice people! We went for our first time and are already planning our trip for next year. It's a 12 trip for us, but so worth it. The facility is a bit dated, but very clean. There's a laundry room. It's the kind of place you stay longer than a couple of days in. I me people that have been going there for 30 plus years."

"The location was fabulous. The outdoor pool located directly across the street from the hotel was awesome ! The staff were friendly. The access to the beach was perfect. We loved everything…except the breakfast. Needs: fresh fruit, more healthy options and better quality eggs and sausage. The breakfast was disappointing but overall we loved the hotel and would stay them again and would recommend it to friends."
