"My booking stated The hotel Collection on Superior Ave, Chicago, IL had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot in the room. The room did not have a refrigerator nor a coffee pot. Coffee was available on the main floor from 5:30am, which was great. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off around the sink area. Maintenance should repair the wallpaper (Room 2504). The lobby looks nice. Gym was adequate. This hotel is listed as a 4-star but is closer to a 3-star hotel. There was one very thin blanket on the bed. Not enough for warmth. The room was clean. The hallways were pleasantly scented, which was good. Some hotels smell horrible. I was told I should have received an upgrade for a 4-night stay, but did not. My reservation was also to include breakfast but when I checked in I was told breakfast would cost extra. The hotel location is good."
