"The views were beautiful, but the staff was no help. The line was ridiculously long to get checked in. When we got checked in, they had someone show us how to get to our room and the young gentleman brought us to a stairwell and stated didn’t they tell you the elevators are broken we literally had to walk through construction sites and multi levels just to get to our room. "Old hotel and rooms. All the outlets in our room were titled and so hard to plug things in them. The outlets near the nightstands on either sides can’t accommodate a charger because they’re stuck on the side of the nightstand between it and the side of the bed. Hairdryer so old and didn’t work. Check in was exactly at 4, they weren’t lenient when I showed up at 2:40."

"If you just need a place to shower and sleep without any of the frills of a nice hotel, it does the job. My teenage kids and I came into town for an event and stayed 2 nights. Most Hotels were booked and prices were high because of a special Pokemon event going on. There were plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. "We stayed 4 nights in 2 rooms (a couple and a solo traveler) and while the location is the hotel's strongest point. It is a historic building in the Loop, walkable to Millennium Park and easy transit access. A few things could be improved. Our check-in experience was a bit awkward as the host assigned the smallest room to the couple rather than the solo traveler, which felt like an oversight.
