"We had a good experience overall. Friendly staff, good location, it was clean (although we found an old sock under the bed...) and quiet (although we could hear a little bit some of the other clients in their room). The room was a bit on the small side (we had a room for two without shower), including the toilet, and some of the walls would need a coat of fresh paint. Breakfast was ok (it is free for kids under 12, which is not advertised, and it is not included if you don't book through the hotel), there is a good range of products, but no hot chocolate which I found a bit odd. The hotel is only a short walk from the wharf. Please note that there is a very limited number of ferries going to/from Taronga Zoo from/to Cremorne Point, and only at odd hours. If you wish to visit the zoo, you will have to take the ferry to Circular Quay and back to Taronga Zoo, which is kind of silly, considering how close Cremorne and Taronga are from each other. Another option is to walk (it is a nice walk), to catch the bus (but it takes forever), or to drive if you have a car. Final thing: there is nowhere immediately close for lunch or dinner. We had to walk to Mosman Bay and Mosman Rowers to get dinner."
