"Lovely building and very close to town centre, all the staff are lovely - friendly and helpful.
Our room was ok but not as clean as it should have been, only 1 set of towels on arrival, shower gel was empty. All got resolved though as soon as I requested. We hung up our towels to re-use but they were changed each day.
Free bottled water provided each day and good tea and coffee set up. Bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was amazing - plenty of choices and really well done. Menu only, no buffet for...

"We stayed in a comfortable twin room at the Hand Hotel with a view across the river. One of the beds was slightly tilted due to the sloping floor which could have been easily corrected by using feet raisers on two of the bed legs."

"I attended on UTS2026 as a volunteer and a competitor. This hotel is about 5 mins by walking to the start line of the race.
The room was clean and had almost everything I wanted. I only missed a bath tub that I wanted to use after the race, but I only got a shower.
The staff were very helpful and polite.
The breakfast was also fantastic.
This was my 2nd time in the Royal Victoria Hotel. I am sure I will be back for another visit next year as I have an unfinished business with the race as I...

"À la carte breakfast was good. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.. rooms are slightly dated and the carpets could use some upgrading. Overall, our stay was fantastic though."
