"I booked this room off the good reviews I read. I’m not sure where all of the 5 stars came from. The room was clean, however the property looks run down. There was no staff to check us in and Expedia didn’t send the correct information for the Kiosk to give the room key. I will not book here again."

"The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. We happened to arrive on the weekend that wildfires broke out in the area. The staff did their best to keep us updated and were very kind. Although we had to cut our trip short due to the fires, we will definitely go back to Superior Shores if we have the opportunity. Beautiful and peaceful place with wonderful staff! Thank you!"

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Room good. Complimentary cider, popcorn, and smores were good. (Had to make the smores in the microwave, though, because of fire restrictions.)
The cover photo is a bit misleading; it shows a lake view and apparently the only lake view is from the second floor on one side of the hotel, so if you're in the other 3/4 of the hotel, no lake view for you."

"Great place to stay but the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Clean comfortable rooms with larger refrigerator than the usual.

"The first thing I noticed is how genuinely friendly and welcoming the front desk staff is. They really know what they are doing, they were helpful, and smiled a lot. It was excellent hospitality!
My room was very clean, and it had some special touches that made my day.
Parking was easy despite the place being fully booked. I was very impressed with this place."
