"The hotel is Dirty and needs to be cleaned. The room had damaged furniture (lamps, dresser). Needs to be fixed/ upgraded. Breakfast was the topical hotel food. "

"Don't bother wasting your money at this hotel. It's dirty and noisy and full of construction workers who drink all night in the parking lot and leave their beer bottles strewn everywhere. Breakfast is garbage we walked in and walked right back out and went to Bob Evans. There was fruit flies swarming the fruit and filthy tables. The only reason we stayed here was because we passed our cancellation date for a refund. But take this warning from me and don't waste your money or time."

"The room we had was okay, but the parking lot on the end we were staying at (farthest from entrance) had no lights in it, so we ended up parking in the front lot and walking to our room. Us being smokers, that was very inconvenient for us since our room was practically the farthest from the main lot. We booked this hotel because it advertised as having a pool, hot tub, and spa on site. The spa was closed, so I couldn’t book anything, the pool and hot tub were so small that we ended up not using those either. They are doing construction and normally that wouldn’t bother me, but the room they put us in was directly next to a few rooms that were being worked on. You’d think they would try and keep guests away from construction in a huge building that was not full by any means. "

"I enjoyed my visit here. The location was perfect, bed was comfortable, room was clean, all the staff members were friendly, and there was plenty of choices for breakfast and snack time. "

"Old building that they are trying to put lipstick on. Musty smelling in the building and with the room air conditioning. Dirty bathroom had to put a towel in the tub to stand on. Only warm shower water. Sink did not drain. OLD structure with a paint job. Parking lot with craters…walls in hallway with gouging in drywall, only ice on one floor…. Breakfast fair to poor… back to the 80’s Most staff was nice tho"

"We are regular clients at IHG group hotels and we were not surprised and definitely not unimpressed at Holiday Inn, Birch Run. Everything slotted into place as normal making us feel "family". Breakfast was self service and basic for what we needed. The room was serviced 1 day before we left,it could have waited until we left. If our travel dictates we will stay here again."
