"Room was cleaned properly. Just not clean, carpets, tiles and fixtures were are old, the elevator was rickety, making noises and scary, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, pillows flat and a thin hospital style blanket. The toilet in our room did not flush. The place is huge. It was a maze to find our room. The pool was being painted, so unusable but the pool area and entrance were beautiful. Beyond that it was like an old hotel that needs upgrades. I’m assuming they just built on the new lobby and pool room and restaurant. Would explain the long walk and 6 turns to find the elevator and then even more to find the room. We booked this as a stop to sleep on our road trip and it served its purpose for the discounted Total price of $64 (with taxes and fees). Based on that price, I gave it 4 stars. If I had paid $80 or more for this hotel, I would feel pretty disappointed and would have rated it a 3. If you can get this cheap and aren’t looking for luxury, it is sufficient for a cheap hotel stay. "
