COVID-19 has transformed how the world works in so many ways, and travel has changed with it. These tips will help you navigate these new challenges and get you ready for your journey to Northern Nevada:

• Investigate if any travel restrictions apply to your origin and destination before locking in your flight. Also check if there are any special conditions you'll have to follow on arrival, such as testing and quarantining.
• Keep your face mask on during airport screening. A TSA employee will ask you to adjust your mask to verify your identity.
• Instead of handing a TSA officer your boarding pass, position it straight on the scanner yourself. When that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now allowed in your carry-on bag. It must be no bigger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll have to remove it from your bag for scanning.
• Put any personal items (like your phone and wallet) in your carry-on instead of a bin to minimize handling during the screening process.
• Separate any food you're carrying for X-ray scanning. Putting it in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA agent to touch and inspect your belongings.
