"Nice clean and quiet hotel. Located very close to the lakes edge. The staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good in the morning with plenty of choice. There is also an indoor pool. The absolute godsend in the hot/sticky weather was the use of the outdoor pool at the sister hotel. The hotel is about a 15/20 minute walk into the centre of Stresa. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s a lovely walk along the lakes edge into Stresa."

"The location was perfect. Right on the lake and close to shops and restaurants as well as access to the boats for visit to the Borromean islands. The pool was right on the lake. I didn’t see any other hotel that had that nice feature. There is also an adult only rooftop pool that is warm.Breakfast was delicious. However, the beds and pillows were quite hard."

"We were very pleased to stay at the hotel. It was noticeable how friendly and helpful all the staff . The location was very good for us. The room was comfortable very clean and well maintained.We enjoyed the breakfast but perhaps a little more variety over the course of a week would be good. Overall we had a great stay"

"Great location. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a lake view(possibly due to building work at the back of the hotel) which was fantastic. As we only did a long weekend didn’t even notice the works. Short walk (10 minutes) to town centre with its restaurants and charm."

"We loved our stay here. A beautiful, old style property with beautiful gardens, lovely old furnishings with lots of artwork on the walls. Phenomenal views from the rooftop area, which is sadly underutilized. Great lake views from many of the rooms. 20 minute walk into Stresa along a lovely walkway on the lake edge. Good breakfast as well. Highly recommended"
