"The hotel is located very close to the lake and ferry stop is just 1 min walk from the hotel. There is about 20 min walk via boardwalk to the center of Stressa. Hotel offers very good breakfast with an excellent service. Rooms are small and not all face the lake. Staff was professional. Nights were quiet and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were spacious with soap and shampoo provided. The place fit me well since I was mostly interested in visiting the islands. Also they have private parking which is a big plus."

"Location is ideal, only 10 min walk to train station and bit less to lake. All staff were great. It is a Viking tour hotel so you do get a lot of people staying but the hotel facilities can handle it. Breakfast was a wide range the only criticism is that the hot food isn’t hot. Cold scrambled eggs, bacon. The room we had Mountain View was big enough for a week no issues. Lake maggorie is vast and traveling everywhere on the ferry can get expensive. Worth the money is the Maggiore express on the weekends that take you to Locarno in Switzerland and scenic train back. All in all a lovely 7 days."

"Excellent location! Just 5 min walk from train station and 2 min walk to Lake and promenade. Staff was very friendly. The only downside was a very small shower with no tray to put soap or shampoos. You have to either hold them or put on the floor."

"Beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean room with TWO verandas! The location felt very relaxed and safe. Hosts were very helpful with changing our reservation and helping us with everything we needed. Breakfast was also fantastic. Definitely recommend for your stay in Baveno!"

"Booked this hotel the same night we got there due to cancelled flight and staff were great, we rang up before we booked to check we could check in and they confirmed they would be there all night. The room was ready within 10 minutes of us arriving, nice room, balcony, comfy double bed, lovely shower and reasonably sized room. The rooftop we spent a long time on as we had a late flight on the last day, the day loungers are super comfy and there’s hot tubs up there too. Nice chilled town, lots of lovely restaurants along the same road, the lake nearby is very nice with a beach club/ restaurant on the water’s edge. The breakfast included in the stay was amazing, lots of options from eggs to pancakes to yogurt to cereal, staff were attentive too."
